I recently attended a wedding with a beach theme and they had a simple glass bowl in the shape of a seashell that they put the golf ball favors in. The bowl was sitting at the end of the banquet table so their guest were able to just reach in at their convenience and take their favor.

This is a great idea! I wish this would have been around when I was getting married. I had a hard time trying to think of what to do with them. My fiance had to have golf balls for the wedding favors as he is such a golf fan. We ordered the little containers that hold one ball and wrapped them in tulle and finished off with a ribbon.
